After Labor day:  Sunday School 9:15 AM Sunday Morning Worship 10:30 AM
 


 
We are a church of strong faith, fun, fellowship and food! 
We like to get together and pray, eat and have fun! 
In fact one of our groups is an adult group by the name of Friends' P.E.P. Club.  The PEP stands for Pray Eat Play! 
This group meets periodically for fellowship and mission work. 
Last year we sponsored some special Sunday lunches and went to Wesley Woods on Geneva Lake for a lunch
and a tour of the camp grounds.  We did go again on October 25.
 
Our women's group is United Methodist Women (UMW).  This group meets at 7 PM every other month from April through August on the first Tuesday for 6  months & on Saturday mornings at 10 every other Saturday from Oct. through February.  All women are welcome to join. The next meeting is Feb. 6 at 10 AM
 
Our Sunday School has 2 separate classes for children. 
The younger children have a class and 7th through 12th have a class.   A Youth Group is planned to start this fall.
 
Our church newsletter "Catch the Spirit" is published every
4 to 6 weeks with a schedule of activities and reports and pictures of past events.
 
A Mission Trip to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, KY was held June 7 through 13th, 2009.  Several fundraisers were planned to help raise the money to go. Another is planned for June of 2010, would you like to be included?  This will be from June 13 through 18th, 2010.  Please call 815 648-2512 & speak to Pastor Gerardy.

We are located on Highway 47 (Main Street) just 2 1/2 blocks south of the junction of Highway 173 in Hebron.  (Between 3rd & 4th streets, located on the west side of the street)

Sermon title: "Who Will Volunteer?" by guest speaker, Kathy Dickerson
Sub sandwiches available by previous order to benefit Henderson Mission Trip.
"Souper Sunday" please bring cans of soup to church which will be given to the Hebron Area Food Pantry.
Our goal this year is 200 cans/boxes/containers!
 
February 9
Prayer Shawl Ministry Group meets at 1 PM
Prayer shawls or lap robes are knit or crocheted & then given to anyone who might need one.  This might be for illness or grieving, or going through a rough time.
 
February 14
Sunday School 9:15AM + Confirmation
Morning Worship 10:30 AM
Followed by H.E.A.R.T.S. potluck luncheon.  Please bring a dish to pass which starts with one of those letters from hearts!  The people from Alden Comm. UMC & St. John's Lutheran are invited to join us for this special luncheon.  Ham will be the main meat!
 
 
Please stop by & see & park in our new parking lot.  Part 1 of phase 1 has been completed.  There  will be an exit to the alley with the gravel base when the underground wires can be located at the west end.  We have this first part paid for & are now looking for donations to continue this phase 1.  Phase 2 will be within 3 to 5 years when we can raise funds to have it blacktopped & marked.  Meanwhile it is great to be able to park so near to the church!!!
