We are a church of strong faith, fun, fellowship and food!
We like to get together and pray, eat and have fun!
In fact one of our groups is an adult group by the name of Friends' P.E.P. Club. The PEP stands for Pray Eat Play!
This group meets periodically for fellowship and mission work.
Last year we sponsored some special Sunday lunches . We did go to Wesley Woods on Geneva Lake for a lunch following Worship on Oct. 16th. It is a pretty spot to sit or to walk around for awhile after a good meal!
A group attended the play "Joseph & the Technicolor Dream Coat" on July 24 at 3 PM at the Good Company Theater at Williams Bay..
Our Church Picnic was in the Hebron Park last year on Aug. 14th. Worship was at 9:30 AM with the Rev. Rich Rubietta leading music & giving the message. Picnic followed Worship.
Our women's group is United Methodist Women (UMW) & they did sponsor a Rummage Sale on Aug. 12 & 13th. Next meeting is Feb. 18th at 9 AM. UMM will meet at 8 AM.
Our Sunday School:
The younger children have a class.
Our church newsletter "Catch the Spirit" is published every
4 to 6 weeks with a schedule of activities and reports and pictures of past events.
A Mission Trip to Henderson Settlement in Frakes, KY was held in June, 2010. Several fundraisers are planned to help raise the money to go. Would you like to be included next year? Last year it was from June 19 through 25th, 2011. Please call 815 648-2512 & speak to Pastor Gerardy.
